Vets Golf Tuesdays

Tuesday 7th Vets single stableford and yellow canary

No not a bird but a yellow golf ball that each team has with the aim of playing with it and not losing it before you complete the 18 holes. Each player in the group of four takes turns in playing a hole using the yellow ball.
The successful team with the best score was:- Albert Daly, Alex Lichacz, Bob
Bell and Allan Mearns.
The overall Stableford winner for the day was an amazing golfer, Frank Park who not only still plays golf at over Ninety but does so with skills that most of the rest of us would love to have. Frank won today’s event with 38 points.
Frank you are not just a great golfer with a happy disposition but you are a gentleman along with it.
Big Congratulations Frank!

The two grades for the day were First Division won by Garry Donovan with 36 points, Graham Lewington with 34points.
Division Two was won by overall winner young Frank Park with 38 points and Gordon Heming with 37 points.
A further highlight of the day was Jamie and Jill Reardon along with the ever friendly and helpful John Latta serving up a great lunch for all players to enjoy. Thank you Jamie, Jill and John it was much appreciated by us all.
To top off the Reardon’s day Jamie won three golf balls and Jill won a Raffle prize so I guess they went home happy.

Thank you all.
Most important are the fantastic business owners within our community who support such events and,
