Vets Golf Tuesdays

Tuesday 11th Vets single stableford

Callala Vet’s Tuesday 11th November
Single Stableford was the format for today’s comp which was held along with very golf friendly weather.
The event and the weather certainly suited today’s field with most players coming home with reasonable scores.
Today also saw Terry London convert his near perfect swing into great golf which ensured he took his well earned position at presentation as winner with an impressive 41 points.
Congratulations Terry this certainly is rewarding after your great result at last week’s Vet’s.
Runner up today was Richard Clarke who came home with an also impressive score of 40 points.
Congratulations Richard it is great to see you back in the winner’s circle.

Mens Comp Saturdays

Saturday 22nd November 2014 CALLALA OPEN

Callala Golf course today was a hive of activity with the Saturday Men’s Competition and in the evening the combined Ladies, Men’s and Vet’s end of year Presentation Dinner.
Both events were very much enjoyed by those members and guests who attended them.
The course today was offering great assistance to those skilled enough to take advantage of staying
on the fairways and getting the great run that was on offer.
Today the most skilled of the players was Cody Wehmeyer who was obviously showing playing
partner, Dad, how the game was played.
Cody is demonstrating his talent for the game and there is no doubt that he will go on to be one of the top players in our region.
Congratulations Cody on your well played win today.
Not to be left out was Runner Up, Harold Reynolds, who played great golf to come in just one point
behind young Cody.
Well done Harold and it is great to see you back in the
winner’s circle.
Harold’s great game also saw him also win the coveted incentive award, which certainly put an even bigger smile on his face.
Adam Ruperto was to come in third today after the dreaded count back with Harold coming out on top due to his one stroke handicap advantage.
Congratulations Adam on a great game and commiserations on that deadly count back.
